I Predict a Riot!
Continuing our journey to expand ‘Be At One’ for Stonegate Pub Group, we have transformed this historic site in the heart of Greek Street, creating the third venue in Leeds. We showcase our new and exciting transformation of this premium cocktail bar.
THE BRIEF
Located at the former Liquorist site in Leeds City Centre, our brief was to completely transform the three distinct floor levels within this Grade II building. The Basement, Ground floor and First floor each held their own identity and when combined needed to bring together a vibrant and lively venue for some fantastic cocktails and partying.
‘Be at One’ bars are known for breath-taking performances from its bartenders, so encapsulating this within our design was vital to keep the energetic atmosphere and capture this high-spirited operation.
THE DESIGN
Within the three layers we see an array of new finishes which helped to maintain a premium appearance. This included dark blue wall tiles with brass chevron insert, gold wall tiling in triangular and hexagonal formats, bespoke light fittings, feature fixed seating finished in a bold selection of blue, pink and mustard yellow upholstery.
Neon signage is a signature feature of the ‘Be at One’ sites, so incorporating quotes and slogans that embrace the Leeds culture was a key feature of the design process. ‘Dancing in the moonlight’, ‘It’s raining men’ and ‘I predict a riot’ all exhibit the enjoyment of a night out in the city.
Be At One’s multiple floors offer an energetic nightclub area to complement the Cocktails. These high-spirited club spaces are designed to enclose energy. The newly designed perforated ceiling rafts with fully controllable and dimmable LED lighting was without doubt a standout feature and helped to encapsulate a premium but lively bar feel.
